Living Through Loss Counselling Society of BCWelcome

What Is Living Through Loss Counselling Society of BC (LTLC)?

LTLC (founded in 1972) is a not-for-profit organization that provides professional grief counselling to adults and children who have experienced any type of loss. We offer a confidential and supportive environment in which to discuss your concerns.

Who Funds Living Through Loss Counselling?

The United Way provides partial funding. Private Donations, Corporate Sponsors, Society Members and fees provide the balance. We are able to offer individual counselling at a reduced rate of $85/hr because of our partial funding.

Our major funding organization, the United Way of Lower Mainland, has changed its focus and after 25 years of support from them they have terminated our contract. What we need to sustain the agency for another year is $50,000.00 to replace what United Way has taken away from our ability to continue on.
